2000 Chevy Sierra 2500 HydroBoost no brakes

Last winter while I was plowing the brakes went out on the plow rig. I was ill all summer so am trying to repair now. Reservoir was empty. I filled it to the MAX mark, started the car, and tried applying the brakes in hopes I could locate the leak by checking for drips. No fluid moves out of the master cylinder. I loosened the main lines from the master cylinder, still no fluid moving. Is there some special method of getting the master working again? Could it be the master cylinder is bad?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated
Thanks
Bill

the reason it is empty is because of a leak. usually this is the line running to the rear brakes.

the reason you still have the pedal to floor and no pedal is the master must be bled. I really do believe that since this system went dry the ABS valve module may also need be bled by using a special GM ABS brake controller.

you could try to place a pressure bleeder to the res. fill cap and force the brake fluid threw the system many find this a fast easy way to fix this type major brake fluid loss.
