2002 ford expedition cranks but wont start

Hi I have a 2002 ford expedition with the 5.4L V8. The vehicle has been acting up. It would spudder and the it would feel like it was being flooded and stall. It sounded like you put cheap gas in it like from (Mexico) thats the best way i could explain it. And then sometime it starts right up and runs like a champion. Then it just wont start it cranks just doesn't turn over. I scanned it with a OBD2 and no codes stored or pending. I also repaced the camshaft position sensor with no change. Right now i went outside and it fired right up. Yesterday ran fine and let it sit for a couple of hours and it didn't start. Had it towed home. Just at a loss dont know what to do.. no code is killing me and that it start after a bit.. need help thanks.
