So I bought some cold medicine called Contact yesterday. Has an AM and PM combo in the box.... but so far I don't think its doing much for me.

Any people in here that spend more than their fair share of time sick have any suggestions on cold/flu meds?? Store-bought or home remedy, whatever... if it involves tequila, I'd like to hear about that first

I usually try to tough it out with the combo of sleep and lots o water but a confluence (<-- Secret Word of the Day ) of circumstances have me feeling like concentrated feces so Im going for the drugs..... the non fun kind

Last winter I tried Alka Seltzer Plus gel pills, similar to the nyquil, as opposed to the tabs you put in water. Worked very well, I was surprised, especially since it was the first time I tried them. I loaded up on vitamin C as well, with Emergen-C powder stuff you put in water. Felt much better in 3-4 days, rather than my normal 7-9 days.
