The store I went to only had the one, otherwise I would have bought it for sure. The rest were all weird "concept" cars or different variations of Dodge Chargers. Wasnt there a real honda hood that did go up instead of dip in though? The ones that had those bastard ZC engines or whatever, the crap DOHC ones.

The more pics I look at, the more variation Im seeing. Although the OEM seems to have a small dip rather than any hump in the middle.

As for OEM hoods that have a hump in the middle for Civics, I cant say I remeber one off the top of my head

I'm so confused right now. Granted, I'm a stray from the 5th gen section, but I'm confused by what you're talking about with the hood. Every 4th gen I've seen has a hump in the hood, that tapers off before the front of the hood/where the emblem is. Am I missing something?

Im no expert on the specifics of the various Civic bodies, but it looks like the hump in the hood on the Hot Wheels is more solid than on the real thing. Im only going off what I see online though.

Also, the contour lines that form the hump go all the way down by the lights. The real thing doesnt have that from what Ive seen

Not bumped but like it has a cowl instead of dipping in, and I found a photo, jdm si-r's came with this hood/front end config:
