Re: Lotus 78 -Tamiya 1/12

I missed the thread too! Just about the best build of this model that ever I've seen - lovely additions that work really well, especially the alloy wing mounts!

Only downer is the Ford Logo on the cam covers (and not Peter's fault!). No idea why Tamiya changed it from the more correct earlier DFV mouldings?

Re: Lotus 78 -Tamiya 1/12

Hello Peter,

i don't know why but i've never been a great fan of that particular car, BUT....

your miniature and presentation makes me love it!!!!

GREAT WORK, absolutely fantastic, wunderful, painstaking details, lovely work of a art. These large gloss black areas are for sure not easy to deal with.........And your pics are of catalouge-quality.

PS: only one very small thing to mention, from my point of view. To give your work and some parts even more depth, you should think about a restrained / subtle wash, especially around / in the rims / around these wunderful bolts. Would make the already superb appearance even more impressive and realistic.

Again, really great, top notch execution.

CONGRATS

Yours
jochen
