Wow, Petteri, I haven't been checking this thread for a while, but you've made some amazing progress! The PE and the engine look totally awesome!

Re: 1:24 Ford Focus WRC- Neste Rally Finland 2007- WINNER

Some progress, I had to make molds because some joints came visible through paint work :-( . Actually the sun roof was the difficult area.

Sun roof, joints are not easy to see.

Mold making of the bonnet. Old Legos are very useful :-)

Castings...

The very first resin parts for test fitment.

I also started with lamp lenses. I do have clear resin, but I think vacuforming gave better result in this case.

I used original lenses of the diecast model as basis. I had corrected the shape of lamps better.

I did gypsum mold first and casted white metal "mandrels"

Polished mandrels.

I will show you the results of vacuforming later.

Just for teaser, the resin body already has paint on it :

Petteri, that's absolutely the greatest Focus build i've ever seen! Have you used vacuum for casting resin parts? Your casting looks very good and I cannot find any bubbles in the resin! Great job!
