Re: 2001 Windstar P0401 EGR Insufficient Flow

Just wanted to say thanks for all if the info everyone ....
I'm having the same trouble with my van but didn't know where to start looking. When I took shop in highschool, emissions systems wasn't a topic of interest ... just learned about the actual mechanical things LOL
Anyhooo ... I'm on vacation in a couple of weeks, so I'm gonna give it a tackle. Thanks again !!

Re: 2001 Windstar P0401 EGR Insufficient Flow

I have replaced the EGR valve, the DPFE sensor, and the EGR vacuum valve. Does anyone have any other ideas of what could be going on? Have cleared the code after every part was replaced check engine light comes on after 23 miles. Van is in good condition just bought it exactly one year ago 9has about 180,000 miles on it but the body and everything else is in great condition) light came on 3 weeks ago and cannot get it off......
