Another thing I found very different is when we were going down hill at 7 grade and had the cruise set at 60 mph, the van down shifted to slow us down. Didn't hit the brakes at all and the rpms were running at 3500 rpms. Is that normal?

When I did stomp on it to get going I was surprised how high the rpms were almost to redline. Very happy with this van. I am glad I got this over the Nissan Quest they were trying to sell us.
Yes the power makes it truly fun to drive. I think it has more HP and Torque than Honda or Toyota.

My cruise control does the same. It will suddenly downshift and then take off.

I think so mine does the same.

Yes, when you put your foot on the gas going up a hill it will go to about 6.5 /redline

I have been very happy with mine as well. Time will tell and so far it looks pretty good.
