Great job on the hinges Ralph. I will be doing the same. What thickness of brass did you use? Look forward to more pic's. Awesome work.

I used KnS metal brass sheets..#251 brass. On the bag it says .010x4x10.. since this is my first time working with brass im not to familiar with it yet but i hope that helps.

Loving the look of that LS motor nestled in there, and the hinges come up a treat.
Gonna have to try that on one of mine..oh, just remembered, mine will be a lift off "glass hood".

Good to be back Greg... its slow going but its moving.. im having lots of parts made for this project.. Jim at Micro Nitro made the wheels. I also had him make me some disc brakes and coil overs for the rear suspension.. and Greg im learning from you lol.. i cant even touch your scratch building talents....
