Completed: Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Skyline Z-Tune “Gran Turismo”
This was great fun. Tamiya’s excellent Skyline R34 Nismo Z-Tune with Hobby Design decals, to replicate one of the prize cars in PlayStation2’s GT-4.
The kit, of course, just fell together (albeit not really an accurate Nismo Z-Tune underneath) and, after the white-red-black masked paint job, the Hobby Design decals are excellent: very opaque whites, easy to conform to curved surfaces, no problems with the usual decal solvent products. I just used a splash of Modelers c/f on the rear wing. Something different, and looks good on the shelf. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

You should make some wash on chassis and i think that rear stickers are little curved.
Rest is perfect, nice project

Re: Completed: Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Skyline Z-Tune “Gran Turismo”
Great looking car and decal job. Although I believe the original Gran Turismo R34 is based on a R-tune not the Z-tune, it's nice to see one in Z-tune trim.
