Header door actuator door area photo or diagram
I've had trouble for years with the arm that I'd guess comes from the actuator and controls the blend door on my 98 Sub. It falls off and I reach in and put it back on the spindle. Several weeks ago I picked up a spring near the gas peddle. Today I found the piece that fits on the spindle. I need to figure out how to get it all back together. Anyone who has been in that area knows you can't see. I'd like a photo or diagram to know what it should look like when I try to put everything back together. Fortunately it's warming and I don't need the defrost too much until I figure it out.

Re: Header door actuator door area photo or diagram
It is normally the arm that drives the defrost door that comes loose- it goes straight up above the gas pedal-to the defrost door. To see how it is assembled look at the arm next to it. I put these back on all the time, and usually use a little JB weld on the end of the shaft it mounts to, to assure it stays put. The best way, if in doubt still, is to go look at another 95-99 GM C/K truck- try a used car lot if you have no buddys who drive one.
