For some reason the MAF Sensor always goes bad on my car. I've had to replace it a few times already. Does anyone know of this problem and/or know of a better quality MAF sensor I can buy. Sometimes if I clean the sensor it will work again but otherwise I have to replace it.

Re: 04 Bonneville MAF sensor problem
2x here with Cardone remans, after about 18 mo, 2003 Lesabre. New GM would solve the issue, assuming it just doesn't need cleaning.

Re: 04 Bonneville MAF sensor problem
OEM's are more expensive, but when it comes to electronics, that's the way I go.....
Also, are you using a K&N air filter? Too much oil on the filter causes MAF problems.... |

Re: 04 Bonneville MAF sensor problem
The car has been in my family its entire life. it was my ma's car for awhile then I finally got it after waiting 9 years. I replaced the MAF twice for her and both times were from Weavers so i'll try OEM this time around.

Re: 04 Bonneville MAF sensor problem
Either get GM for that or hit up a wrecker and grab a couple.. I would rather get a junkyard unit then buy one from the parts store( all junk imho )..
