2002 Volkswagen Passat 1.8t, Help !

Hello everyone. Trying to get my Passat 1.8t running better since I am about to leave for work in a few weeks. It runs good but does have some problems that really annoy the hell out of me. Had a whole lot of work done recently, had a bad water leak fixed, plugs changed, brakes/pads, vacuum hoses, couple other misc hoses. Sometimes will have ABS and Brake light flash, just had my brakes done and pads and rotors machined, and had them rechecked after lights started popping, everything is fine according to both shops, so most certainly a sensor gone bad I need to replace, along with a sensor throwing my check engine light all the time. But what is bothering me is that, sometimes the brakes seem a little bit airy or squishy and sluggish to slow down, not always just sometimes, but they are supposedly fine. Also sometimes when I sit still for a bit and let the car idle, sometimes it will stutter a little bit, but that doesn't happen very often, And when I am driving, sometimes it feels like its power is lagging down for some reason, say I take off and the turbo kicks in at around 3k-3.5k you can feel the car start pulling harder, but sometimes it feels like it lags down a bit, then pulls, lags down then pulls. Sometimes it feels like its not even pulling at all, sometimes it does. Also if I crank up and sit there and let it idle, and tap my brakes rapidly 3,4,5 times it feels like the motor stutters a bit. I seriously need help with this if anybody could give me some opinions it would be greatly appreciated. Fingers crossed for not needing a new turbo hopefully!
