Oh man, my goal is to build one of those someday. I do prefer the looks of the Cobra roadster but would much prefer to build a nice, relatively quiet and comfortable Daytona Coupe with A/C and heat.

Building a whole car is a lot of work though - maybe not as much as a scratch built 1:8 Porsche 908 or the current 1:8 Porsche project that's going on now.
I dunno, I'm much more likely to make good progress on a real car than a tiny fake one!

Re: Cobra Daytona and Cobra 427 !

Girchy - the Daytona has no engine detail, this kit does not
detail Gunze engine, but the Cobra is the Monogran and follows
some pictures of it.
Tks !

@GirchyGirchy - It looks like you are right near me. If it ever happens, I might have to drop you a line. I don't know how 'quiet' the Coupes are. All aluminum interior. Hot too - engine right next to the aluminum foot box. A/C a must for Indiana otherwise it's just a Spring and Fall car!!

The stance is perfect on this, what did you do to get it to sit like this?

Re: Cobra Daytona and Cobra 427 !

follows some pictures of the construction of the chassis of the Cobra Daytona Gunze,
very hard to align and glue all the pieces, they are metal, and all of it was very hard to
align and assemble along with the body.
tks

Not too far away - and you know what I mean! I would assume they're pretty warm, but quite a bit of sound dampening material and good insulating padding would probably help. I could ask some Viper owners for tips!

Re: Cobra Daytona and Cobra 427 !

Very nicely built pair, bravo!

The Gunze Daytona coupe is very good, but does lack the engine bay in full detail, a problem I am working to correct, this kit has always cried out for a full engine transkit
Of course the premium is to have a kit specifically of each of the Daytona coupes (i.e. 2299, 2286, 2287, etc.)

Re: Cobra Daytona and Cobra 427 !

Jeremy - I'm glad you liked my style, unfortunately this kit does not have the same
detail Guunze engine, a major flaw because the car is very nice and beautiful, it seems you
will make motor and all the details to him, I interest in it, so I ask you to let me know when
you get ready for me to buy from you and send me here for Brazil, because when entering
my BLOG there will have my contact email for you let me know ok!
thank you
