Re: Saturn SL2 won't start-not the starter
I have a 2001 Saturn sL2 and it will start but when I shut it back off it will not start until it has set for 15-30 minutes. the board lights come on and I replaced the battery . I do notice that sometimes but not all the time my security light comes on but if I shut it off and restart it shuts the security light off . was wondering if maybe their a problem with the security thingy and if theres a way to check ?

Re: Saturn SL2 won't start-not the starter
Mine is a '99 SL1 with an intermittent starting problem. It may start fine five times in a row and then not start. When it won't start the solenoid will click however.
Have tired two other starters, installed a new battery, cleaned all the cables, and prayed. Rock Auto lists a starter switch and a starter relay but the car wiring schematic doesn't show them. I am missing something but I don't know what. Any help would be most appreciated. |
