Reduced Power Light

My daughter has an 07 Ion. Tonight she told me it was idling rough, the CEL light was on as well as, what I determined to be, the "reduced power light."

I've never heard of the reduced power light. What would trigger it? How does it reduce the power?

I had the codes read and got a P2176.

Any thoughts?

Turned out to be a bad throttle body.
