99 Windstar Crankcase Ventilation Tube?

Recently my wifes windstar started running rough, starting erratically and stalling strangly. all of this accompanied by a phantom coolant leak (no puddle under the car) and lots of steam comming out of the tailpipe. This all culminated in an eventual total jerking stall. (luckilly in our parking spot at the apt.) Once I went and looked at it I found that all 6 cylanders were full of water, locking up the engine. So a call to the inlaws and a trip 20miles to thier garage on the flat bed became the order of the day. At this point I bought a total gasket replacement kit, started at the head gaskets and worked my way up. The lower intake manifold gasket was shot. At this point i have to say thank you to my my father in law, brother in law and everyone who has posted in these and other like minded forums. The most I had done before this was replace an alternator, water pump and timing belt on a mazda mpv. Now the stuck point. Most everything is back together and plugged into the correct ports and fittings (thank you painters tape and magic marker) but the rear valve cover has a vent tube coming out of it that i cannot for the life of me find a home for. I belive its called the crankcase ventilation tube. the one end in seated in its place in the valve cover but the other end is free and looking for its home. could any of you help me with this? a pic or 2 of where it hooks up would be awesome. thanks guys.

For the 3.0L engine, the hose goes under the upper intake manifold. I don't know if you can stab-it with the upper intake manifold mounted? I'll try to post a picture?

If it is a 3.8, the hose lands into a port in the plastic air intake bellows ... between air filter and throttle body.
