Ferrari 365 GTB/4 #16367 1/24- Le Mans 1973
My first completed model for '14 is the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Competizione series III from Italeri's kit.
The numbered 37 car (S.N. 16367) drove by Luis Di Palma and Nestor Garcia-Veiga in 1973 Le Mans 24h. Took pole in GTS and lead for 18 hours after a DNF cause clutch problems.


I use Italeri (very bad) kit, with Scale Designs decals. The tyres came from fisher and pattern resin one's, attached to kit wheels. The result have some inaccurate spots because I want just finished it. Some weathering complete the final step.

Excellent for so tough a kit. Lowering it 3mm will improve the kit even more.

The decals are from Scale Designs not Museum Collection. I know because I made them(Cartograf printed). You can still get the double sheet set as I still have a few available. They came from my Scale Designs SDF10 Daytona Competitione 1/24th resin kit wich is out of production.

Super result, with great mods and great ideas! The colour scheme looks so good! Maybe you could have masked the windshield to stop the weathering effect in the area of the wiper.

Yes, I make this effect but because is a circuit car I try to keep it as light is possible.
