Thanks!
Is there anywhere images, where #16R is just converted to road legal? Before 2003?

OK I thought it is 99% sure #23R. But never know these things. Is there any detail where you can see which one it is, this angle?

This is fairly early footage - don't have an exact date.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

Shame about some of the annoying camera angles, was this the same lady i was also thinking about who drove 12R in a similar road test a few years latter?

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

*sigh* seeing 16R in semi-Fina colors makes me wish it wasn't papaya. Wish I could afford that car and put it back in Fina livery along with 24R for that matter.

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

I actually love that 24R still wears its EMKA/EMI livery - not that I necessarily find it more visually appealing, but it is such a great story coming 4th overall that year that it deserves to be remembered.

Plus then we'd have 4 FINA/Team BMW Motorsport liveried cars and during the 1997 season there were never more than two at a time at an event.

It would also force the resolution of the inaccurate livery on 26R (unlikely to occur) as there would be twins.

I forgot to mention I also want 08R in Fina presentation livery.

So basically I want 08R, 16R, 17R, 18R, 21R, 23R, 24R, and 26R all in Fina at the same time. At the same place.

I know the EMI livery is more special based on finishes and history, but the McDonald's colors don't suit the car well. Plus I love BMW Motorsport way too much. Can't get enough of it imo.

Two copies of the #42 at LeMans?! Perfect!

Re: Location of GTR's - Index

I must admit to a somewhat perverse fancy for the white gulf livery probably because it was so short lived.
