Damn. With that dog box transmission, it sounds like a damn rally car from Gran Turismo. I helped my friend do an engine rebuild on a WRX, that the owner had a transmission rebuilt with a dog box/"straight cut" gears installed. Shit sounded just like that. Too bad he's a d-bag shit talker who brought his engine and car to the completely wrong places. First place charged him $3G's to tell him his engine was fucked, and they only did a timing belt job. The best part... he talked shit on a Subaru forum to some tuner, then apologized, and took the tuners advice. The tuner ("JR" sent him to the shop (P&L), that took 10 months, and then took another 2 months to "tune the car. He got it back a year later, right before the last day the local drag strip was open. It ran almost a full second slower in the ¼ mile than it did with the stock block. So FYI (not really an FYI, because none of you are fucking stupid or serious shit talkers); don't talk trash online and then ask those you've talked trash to, to help you out. He rapes people on selling shit commercial pot from green houses in Cali, so it's not like he went broke, to NOT learn his lesson.

That sound is still the shit though.
