Subaru WRC Api Aghini-Roggia rallye Lana 2001

Hi to all.

I wish you all a happy new year 2014 and good health.

I'll post a montage I made in 2010.

I used a Tamiya Subaru WRC 1999.
tk Studio 27 ref: ST27-DC516C.
Up a Grade Renaissance ref: 24/13.
Racing rim 43 ref: A100 BI.

I have prepared all Tam gray, then white.
Then I painted the yellow Tam TS16, followed by white ts 26.

I opened a wip on Mautomobile forum, posted to the beginning of the assembly.
a passion for Subaru posted me a photo of this Subaru Rally Lana 2001. This photo showed that the model is a Subaru WRC Version 2000.

the hood, the front bumper the wing changes to a version 2000.
inside the hoop extends into the boot. the shift lever on the central tunnelled disparrait and remplassé by a sequential range driving.

I separate the front bumper shock, hood and trunk back for change.

elements: personal protective equipment.

I made a purchase on the net three boxes Subaru in February 1999 and 2005.
of accasion, the seller gave me a surprise in one of the box there was a Subaru engine, I decided to settle in this Subaru Api.

good evening all Zim

Always happy to see an Impreza in another livery! Nice choice here too!

Engine looks like a copy of the Studio27 engine kit - great base for lots of detail.

Nice conversion to the 2000 hood and bumper too, I have a similar conversion ongoing myself.

Re: Subaru WRC Api Aghini-Roggia rallye Lana 2001

hello all.

Thank you to you three, for messages that motivate me to post more.

as in the Renaissance Tk 24/13 there is the outline of doors (LH & RH), I cut the two doors on the body.

Then I stuck the edges of door and I stuck plastic card in the extension fender to the roof.

I separated inside door kit 24/13 for the plastic stuck on the door of the Tamiya kit

the first door left side mounted on the body.

and a picture of the body seen from above.

good day all Zim.

I will see if I can find photos but I wanted to point out that the 2000 car was open between the rear wheels, Prodrive had removed the solid piece and moved the spare tire to sit between the rear wheel arches for weight distribution.
