New Man Porsche 956

So finally got around to taking pics of this kit, though I did clean up a bit of weathering before doing so. Some pastel didn't want to rub off though that easily, it might have been because of the thinner i originally used to dissolve the pastel in and it reacted with the paint. Methinks it'll need strong alcohol but it'll take off the paint too. Oh well, at least my next Le Mans racecar won't be this dirty

Here's the WIP thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1090051

and on to the pics:

Re: New Man Porsche 956

nice, I like it, even after a 72 hours racing .
Maybe u can tape the wiper moving area in the next model. That will increase a lot the realism detail.
Not bad overall, even after all the issues u had with painting decals. welldone

Re: New Man Porsche 956

Too bad that you have used the technique soiling on the car that won the race in dry, warm and sunny weather.
But otherwise the model looks nice.

Unbelievable work.

So realistic.

I really want to get into weathering my models more.

Excellent,

Stewart
