2003 Hyundai Sonata Wiper Assembly Problem.

So here's my problem, I replaced the entire wiper linkage/assembly under the cowl and when I use my wipers they don't return to the down position on the windshield. The assembly I installed is from a 2005 sonata, parts guy says it's the same as an 03'. Can anyone tell me why or post pics as to what and where the problem may be that causes the blades to stop halfway up the windshield? Thanks.
