That's a very impressive paint job you've done and I find it impressive how defined your panel lines have stayed. Look forward to seeing your future builds, especially that R390...I've lost momentum on mine Wondering how your interior looks now.

Re: Tamiya Calsonic Nissan Primera JTCC

KevHw thank you! I did the panel lines with a mix of x-4 and xf-1, 1:10 thinned, personally I don't like black panel lines I prefer the same body color but darkened.
what happened with you r390?

MidMazar I did use Wanda PU automotive clear. Thank you!

Re: Tamiya Calsonic Nissan Primera JTCC

I meant that your panel lines don't appear to be flooded with clear unlike some builds I have seen who have also used 2k clears. I've had to box my R390 for now until I find the guts to detail it how I'd like. Also haven't airbrushed in a while so don't want to ruin it . Any more progress on this?

I understand, but airbrushing is like to ride a bicycle, you never forget, go for it. Today I will paint the windows frame and the doors handle with black, post the pictures late, polish and body is done. Thank you for the comments.

After a long idle time, I returned to the hobby

I painted the logos on the tires

Steve, I'm back after a long time, sorry I did not respond before. I use automotive paint from a local provider Albedo

Re: Tamiya Calsonic Nissan Primera JTCC

Got pressure regulator, I can now continue to assembly...

I chose to paint inside the same color as the car, other than have the manual, but I think it's cooler.. Don't you?

I removed the chrome, primer and white, the center will be chrome

Letīs go!
