Heated mirror repair

Hi all,

I'm replacing my mirror and want to know what kind of glue to use to bond the heating element to the new mirror. The original bonding agent is extremely sticky. I'm not sure if it was a double sided film or glue of some kind. If you're wondering.. It's from a 2007 Hyndai Sonata. Using lacquer thinner, a sharp chisel and a lot of patience, I was able to separate the broken mirror from the heating element. I bought a mirror from the local dollarama and I will shape the mirror to size. I just need to bond the heating element to the new mirror.

I know I might to replace it for about 30 dollars, but I'm on an extremely tight budget.

Thanks,
Phil
