How to change license plate bulbs ? The little clear covers dont seem to pop off ........

The trim the bulbs are in needs to be removed, then the sockets can be twisted out to replace the bulbs.

How does one remove the trim ?

I don't remember exactly, but there will be a cover maybe of some sort on the inside of the trunk lid that needs to be removed to access the nut's/bolts to remove the trim for the bulbs.
