Got a 1998 Cavalier that intermittently blows 10A PCM in dash fuse?
I should have waited but changed the fuel pump and pump relay, someone else tried the ign module. It blows at weird times and I've tried shaking the wires and PCM with car running. Of course when the girl drives it she gets stranded with same fuse. I go get it and it never does..

A fuse usually feeds more than one "leg"....you need a schematic to see what it feeds......may even have to isolate each leg one at a time....

Re: Got a 1998 Cavalier that intermittently blows 10A PCM in dash fuse?
Thanks, but after finding out this guy drives this car on a driveway that a 4x4 would have trouble getting up, no kidding. I found the harness at the PCM was frazzled under the right front fender. One wire was bare and I tied the wires up and recovered them and now a happy customer...
