Is it possible to replace a wheel stud on a 94 caprice classic. the rotor and hub are all one piece. i was about to replace my pads and one of my studs broke. can i replace it or do i need to replace the whole rotor and hub?

Re: Replacing front wheel stud
You can get the proper stud at any parts store - at least you can here in Arizona (don't see why that would be different anywhere else). Both Autozone and Oreilly's have them.
J cat has good advice regarding the wheel bearings - since you need to pull the rotor off anyway.

Re: Replacing front wheel stud
cant believe how easy this actually was! i let it soak in penetrating oil over night (dont know if this helped or not). With the rotor still on the car I gave the stud 2 taps with a small metal hammer and it came right out. i could not get the new stud in with my hand or with vice grips so i used a 18inch magnetic wand and was able to find a small space to get the new stud in. I tapped it with a long screw driver then pulled the stud through using a lug nut and impact gun. Changed the pads on both sides and saved alot of money not buying rotors. Got the stud at NAPA for 1.69. Thanks for all your help guys!
