Rotor and pad replacement

Im gonna change my rotors and pads on my 98 nissan maxima, has anyone done this? how hard is it and any helpful hints?

With any car project, the first and foremost tool everyone shoud
have would be the correct service manual for your vehicle.

The manual will tell you step by step how to do your desired task.

I suggest reading the steps for your task over and over several
times to make sure you understand the procedure.

If you have questions from there, it would be best to ask your
local dealer's service department.

Also, the manual will tell you if you need any specialized tools to
complete the job.

thanks scott, i have everytool at my disposal, im doing the work at my buddies precision tune, just was wondering if there were any snags?

Only thing that I would be concerned about would be the
anti-lock brakes that your car should have.

Anti-lock brakes don't like it when you "back flush" the
system. Meaning when you push the piston of the caliper
back in, you're actually "back flushing" the system.

If you have the service manual, all should be explained
there.
