03 Escape in alarm mode

My wife upgraded to a Ford Fusion and we kept the escape for my son who will be driving in a couple of months. I took the battery out as it was sitting and i didn't want to totally drain it. When i put the battery back in and as soon as i hooked up the negative terminal the car went into alarm. We had a company install a remote starter in 2005. I have no idea how to reset the vehicle to stop it from alarming. any help would be greatly appreciate it.

You're going to have to find the manufacturer name and any model number of the remote starter. Then search under that for resetting alarm.

Try putting the key in the ignition and starting the vehicle while its alarming and see if it stops. My daughter had a remote to her car, but I had only the key. When I would go to drive it, I would manually unlock the door with my key setting off the alarm when I opened the door, but soon as I put the key in the ignition and cranked it, it stopped.
