Side mirror

To replace the passenger side mirror of my 97 cougar do I have to remove the the door panel?

yes, u have to take the panel off,
be careful with the wires and unplug the blocks.

if u can find a mirror skin, i know they have them for some cars.
if they a little off u can sand the poly acrylic [plexiglass] with a hand sander
and 20 grit paper.. sand on a diagonal
