I've been working on the Aoshima '85 RX-7 for a couple weeks now, namely gathering, cleaning or modifying parts.
Tail lights backed with BMF and trimmed with Tamiya semi gloss black. ![]() Brakes from the Tamiya JGTC Mobile 1 NSX, Alclad pale gold, Model Master burnt metal and Model Master turn signal amber lacquer. ![]() Mazdaspeed MS-01S from the Aoshima GT-Concepts FD, painted Alclad gunmetal and waiting for Hobby Design valve stems. ![]() Seat inserts and part of the door panels in Tamiya XF-4 yellow green, rest of the interior will be in dark and German grey. ![]() Body color will be Pactra fluorescent yellow.

I agree... Those lights look incredibly realistic. How'd you make them?

Re: Mazda RX-7 FC3S
The tail lights are a multi-piece affair, each piece is molded in clear, clear orange and clear red. I applied BMF to the back and assembled with Elmer's white glue.
