Revell 458 Italia

Hi folks, this is my Revell 458 finished some weeks ago.
The kit is not bad, but the Fujimi one i think is a bit better, even if so simplified.
Colour is PPG Rosso Dino clearcoated with Gunze Super Clear, both spryed directly from can, carefully polished with micromeshes, compounds and final waxing with Sonax polish&wax.
Rims are from FG Model, a beautiful stuff, rear tires from Tamiya F360, while front ones are the rear tires of the Fujimi F430. I think it's a good mix.
I also used some parts taken from a damaged and undone Fujimi 458 of a friend : mirrors, headlights, box filter, oil tank and fairing on the engine compartment.
Used HD PE for Revell plus HD & Ka Models PE for Fujimi, just a bit of everything. PE grille meshes sides the engine glass are the Ka Models for Fujimi, they fit perfectly.
Italian flag stripe decal comes from the A+club detail set for Scuderia Spider 16M.
Exausts are scratchbuilt from 4-3.2mm alu tube.

A nice and clean build! The Rosso Dino looks quite red and not so orange as I thought it would.

I can explain: it seems a bit more red because there are 2 clearcoats. After the 1st one the colour was really red/orange. The shade depends also from the camera settings and lights when i taken the pics, this colour is not easy to snap.
Btw under direct sunlight it matches the Rosso Dino.
