08 Cobalt, driver door lock not working, no daytime running lights and shift indicator always shows in drive

No daytime running lights but lights work normally outside of that meaning they turn off and on automatically like they should. I'm not sure how the shift indicator should work. I have PRNDIL on the center console and the D is always lit up red regardless of what position the shifter is in. Is this normal or should the red highlight move to indicate what position is selected and might this be related to the lack of daytime running lights? Any help or ideas appreciated.
