I cant get my shit box to run!!!!

92 GT 5.0 motor dies after fireing up.. fuel pressure is good, car will run if you put throttle half or more way down. will not idle. can any one help me before i light the hole thing on fire and throw it on lewelling???

Intake air control aka IAC maybe bad. Or map sensor. I'd check those.
