you stated in earlier post.... took it to a jeep dealership, which charged me $130 for a diagnostics and inspection to find the issue. They called me and told me that my car battery and battery harness is causing the problem and that i should replace them both.
now you state....battery was bad ( not according to jeep . you also stated....They called me and told me that my car battery and battery harness is causing the problem and that i should replace them both. The only thing left is the harness. |

Hey Jake, I had the exact same problem in my 96 grand cherokee laredo a few months ago.
It didn't always throw a code, and all my battery-related stuff was good to go. You want to check out the distributor (not just the distributor cap) and you ESPECIALLY want to investigate your crankshaft+camshaft position sensor. Solved the issue for me immediately. |

Sorry everyone i was gone for 2 weeks on vacation w/o internet, well it will still stall but now when it stalls i turn it off and start it back up, and it revs then when i give it some gas it fires right up
