Here is Something To Watch Out For If You Work With Bondo

It's actually the hardener that comes in the red or glue or green tube you want to watch out for. Slosh that in your eye and it supposedly can be instant blindness . Thats why you want to wear safety glasses using that stuff. Another more insidious angle of that hardener worth knowing is how it rots the tube it comes in. That nice plastic pliable tube it comes in becomes brittle over time. Since the hardener gets separated and watery you need to squeeze it back and forth in the tube to make it right again. When that tube gets hardened / weakened you can easily squash right through it and it will squirt all over the place suddenly. It probably won't happen to you but if it does you darned well want some glasses on just in case it flys in your face. I'm relating this because it happened to me twice in the last 2 years and the first time it went all over the front of me as far up as my neck as the tube shattered. Anyways, something to keep an eye out for and another reason to wear safety glasses .
