99 protege wont start after head gasket replacement
My brother has a 99 protege and had his head gasket and radiator replaced but now the car wont start does any one have any ideas or have had similar problems and can give me some advice so I can help him. The guy who did the work said its his fuel pump but when I started to take the fuel pump out it I had my brother turn the key and I could hear the fuel pump winding. And also the car cranks but wont turn over any ideas?

So did it start right after the head gasket? If not, I would verify the timing marks.
Need to do some troubleshooting. Any spark? etc
