Re: Ferrari 458 GT2 AMP 1/24
Consider anyway this part will be very few visible when model is complete. Also in mine I made some details, mostly about the steel frames between the rear wheels, but excluding the 2 big exhaust there is very few visible from the nets.
Thanks god I used all revell base of the engine, simply modifying the air filters on its top and the exiting of the exhaust pipes. U surely have noted also the real gt2 dont have the plastic protections around the upper part of the engine visible from plexiglass. On all the sides u will see clearly all the roll cages tubes in the engine bay.U have seen it and it is also quite easy to detail it with some evergreen. surely is a work u can quickly do with your good skill. Keep on posting. I have seen exactly this livery done also by BEST autos 1:43 over their Ferrari 250 tr Testarossa. When complete in this way looks soo nice really

Re: Ferrari 458 GT2 AMP 1/24
I removed one of the first Enzos and I will take a piece.
![]() ![]() Put no part that covers the engine and try and play as much as possible. I put photos The first thing this piece out. ![]() I put everything back and look at what needs to be corrected. First the engine a little further back. The aluminum support to the wheels of trim to position the drive shaft and to the wall separating the passenger compartment. Then do the aluminum bearing with plastic. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have not enough room to place the engine and axles so the minidrill lame, its support, the coordinate and attack. ![]() ![]() ![]() The inside and is fully passed through the machine and have given way to the engine and axles. Just stay cover with plastic film, putty and sanding. ![]() Beginning billet shape the resin. ![]() Parties I've extracted the Enzo, cut and ready to join the bloc. ![]() ![]() That's it, I thought to go faster, but can not be. Hope you like it. Greetings. Saul. |

Re: Ferrari 458 GT2 AMP 1/24
Here I leave further progress guys.
Engine placement. ![]() As will observe the motor side has holes that are to put the screw and take it to the body. If I leave that is not enough room for the two fuel tanks, so out of there. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I decided that as there was room and did not want to pay much putty, plastic, round inside the wheel arches ![]() ![]() ![]() The two finished wheelarches and now we get to the exhausts, because by delaying the engine long I have left. I will also have to modify the exhaust itself, so that it can attach to close smoothly ![]() Here is the raw fuel tanks. ![]() Here already half finished with the lack of detailed fuel inputs and outputs. ![]() I have little doubt, have if you help me. On the floor? Engine as I leave? The wall that separates the engine goes copkit anticaloric and not leave the ground if so, basically is that this engine is painted in black. Also to spice the wheel will put them in kevlar. and tell me something compis. Greetings. Saul. |

Re: Ferrari 458 GT2 AMP 1/24
I think I dont understood what u mean saul.
Consider the lower part of chassis is surely to be painted in black, but the 2 wheel coverings are (probably) in the yellowish GFK color. All the engine bay is inside a chassis/rollcage that is in aluminium. The big air filter duct covers the engine heads, so when finished all u will see is the frames, those intakes and the red headers, with spark cables. U did very well keeping away the mistaken engine bay resin cover APM gave in this kit. hope this helps u.keep on postin'

Re: Ferrari 458 GT2 AMP 1/24
Well this has had to ration it yours too, no big deal, but something progresses. I've placed a plastic sheet to raise the floor of something, putty to cover damage and finish the fuel tanks. To these then I will make with the lathe as making gasoline and output.
![]() ![]() ![]() I hope you enjoy it. Saul. |
