Modelers Porsche GT1-98 1/24 Lemans
ok so after a few year I'm trying to finish this mess, I lost the headlight covers and thats a big hurdle to me, Its the Modelers 1/24 GT1-98 I've added a few extra decals, it was painted decaled and clear coated, hard to see but most of the interior has carbon fiber decals, its somewhat upsetting that over the years, the white numbers decals have faded a bit and there is some bleed through where you can see the German flag underneath, it was rumored that Tamiya had molded masters and that licensing issues stopped the project. The body was supposedly based on the Tamiya project. Its a pretty nice body, but who knows what the truth is I just wish MFH would do this car properly

Re: Modelers Porsche GT1-98 1/24 Lemans
Humm...nice one there.
I also am in love with such car...and also working already on her. ..or at least to something derivated from modellers made in germany long ago...keep on postin. I am interested. I didnt know the tales about the tamiya origin master.I've seen the modellers and scaleproduction models, they are very similar.Think mine is a clone of this last one. It is strange cause tamiya already did the gt1 of 1996 and the sponsors should be the same.Porsche (and BMW) usually is not so "aggressive" in royalty as italian or american firms are...
