Update time. Really happy with the way the door came out. Sometimes I wonder why I use photo etch if it's just gonna be hidden really wanna get this done so I can start on my next project

Decaling, hardest part but very rewarding. Had to bounce back and forth between the two to keep my sanity. Old decals tear easily.

Hello,

Great work so far, very interesting project.

Your decal work shows that you are doing everything right. I assume you are using some sort of decal solution (micro sol/set).

I see there's some air trapped in the door surround and small folds on the main panel. I've had this problem before and found that hot air from a hairdryer helps.
I normally heat the part, with the decal applied, -not too hot, it might warp-especially suspension arms, and use a moistened, sometimes wet, Q-tip to push the decal into the corners of whatever I'm decaling.

This method works for me and I hope it does for you.
