strong smell after changing spark plugs
2001 LS v8
What would cause the car to give off a strong smell after changing the plugs? |

Re: strong smell after changing spark plugs
Couple plug wires on the wrong plugs? You didn't describe what it smells like..

Re: strong smell after changing spark plugs
Since this is an LS, it won't be crossed plug wires since it's Coil on Plug, but a better description of the smell would help. Also, what kind of spark plug did you use? If you installed something other than OEM or Iridium plugs, the issue maybe the type of plug you used. Does the car seem to run decent?

Re: strong smell after changing spark plugs
It's my son's car and he lives 1100 miles away. Not sure what it smelled like. Anyway, turned out to be a disconnected vacuum line. Thanks for your help.
