Re: Marlboro Lancia Stratos Targa Florio '73

Few updates: TS13 on (12-15 thin layers, last two coats almost "wet"), quickly polished with mesh and a preliminary compound job, it hasn't got wax yet, more work to come before the last wax touches. Custom decals sre giving me a few troubles, mainly a 2x2 mm decal portion gone in the back number plate: masking tape stolen the small part of the decal since the decal film nasn't any glue: I'll apply a final number plate over, touching the white under... hopefully....

Anyway black trims went OK, for my tastes..

Now I need to do the back of the rear spoiler and few other touches, stay tuned! The "end" is not so far

Always great job here.
Custom decals are always a challenge for too many reasons. including the tape covering.

I see a little mess in last picture behind the rear wheel, seems some red paint dropped inside the tape, maybe still possible to fix it.

The wheels are really nice. U almost did it keep on posting, wanna see it completed.

Great looking model. You are doing the car justice!! I always loved the early Stratos. Maybe the 1973 TDF version is the best. I remember as a kid getting a Solido model of it and thinking it was so cool.
