98 grand prix fuel pump want run

hello checked all fuses pump is good ran wire from battery and pump is good but when turn key on pump want run and dont have no power on the injector wires at all tried starting fluid and nothing just cranks ran fine pulled in drive way shut it off and whent back and wont start.it has a remote starter and theft out fit that looks like some one installed could that have anything to do whith it.thanks for any help.it has the 3800 180000 miles

Disconnect harness to tank and attach test light to the half of the harness going away from the tank, on the f/p circuit......turn key to run....does the test light light for two seconds? Crank vehicle......is the light on as long as you crank? Have you checked fuel pressure with a gauge?

There are two wires to each injector, the pink wires are always hot...are they? Disconnecting an injector harness and attaching a noid light to harness, does it blink when vehicle is cranked?

Sure it could....does the remote start work, or does the alarm work?

If the injectors don't blink, it's possible the alarm system has something to do with it....it's possible a fuel enable signal is not reaching the PCM...

Have you checked fuel pressure with a gauge? i do not have any power from the harness to the pump i bridged the fuel pump relay over and it runs but nothing with the key checked wires from key switch all show hot with key turned on but the yellow wire.

Sure it could....does the remote start work, or does the alarm work? never had the remote to try. dont no if the alarm works or not the remote that has elarm and door locks on it is broke. friends car that he just purchased ran good when he purchased it drove once or twice then quit.

not shure i did not check i thought if it did it should have tried to start with the starting fluid found out today that the theft light was not burning so i took the cluster out to see if bulb was blowed and the bulb was gone put a bulb in its place and in want come on.and they are some toggle switch under the dash that i cant figure out were it goes to.and gas hand is at the full mark and should be less than half that. i tried something on the internet that i seen about turn key to acc and wait 15 min then try to start and that did not work.are they any way to reset the theft lock if thats the problem.

Fact you have a toggle switch, looks like you have an alarm or remote start in there......drop the hush panel underneath the drivers side of the dash and look for extra module/harness that is tied into the harness of the car.....usually will see "butchered" connections.....

If you find one, then it might have to be COMPLETELY REMOVED, and the wiring repaired.....

i tried to scan for codes and my code reader obd2 says link error want read computer. and it has a black box under the dash and wires ran every were . i tried to uplug the module but did nothing thats what i will do next completly remove the module and fix all the wires back and see what happens.
