Steering wheel are 2 parts in the transkit. You can paint the knobs not correct while it will be cover with the second part. Great idea.

That steering wheel is pretty clever and it looks great. I'll be following this build, as I love the 911 Hybrid. It's a very impressive car.

That's a very inventive way to do the steering wheel - too good an idea to not use that someday!

The decals have brought it to life, very nice. I do like the dash and wheel as well.

Re: Porsche GT3R Hybrid 24h 2011

the steering wheel painting is a great idea.
Imho the flocking on it is a little too big in scale(is a problem also I always have), but inside cockpit will be probably quite hided.

This looks great! Has anyone tried to do the vents in front of the rear wheels that were used on the later versions?

The body looks fantastic!!! I also didn't know the 1:1 has a flat clear. What clear did you use. Can't wait to see it done, as i hopefully should have one in the pipeline soon.

Re: Porsche GT3R Hybrid 24h 2011

Thanks guys.
I used for the base coat Zeropaint. For clear coat Gunze Topcoat flat.
The cars has 2 versions. It run 2010 and 2011.
2010: vents on the rears fenders, orange/flat, white/gloss
2011: no vents, all over flat
