Hi there, this is my first post here, it's a 1/24 Mercedes SL65 black series.


color: Mr.Color SM03 super iron
clear coat : Mr.Color gx100

No aftermarket items were added except the metal sticker from A+club
























The cf decal is placed on the engine cover

Don't worry about your English as we like to let good photos of good models do the talking and that is a very good looking build.

I really like the look of these, despite the funny looking headlights. When I eventually stop building and finishing my old old old model kits, this is one that I'll pick up myself and like you, will probably finish it it in a grey/gun-metal of some sort.

Thanks for the reply. I 'll fix the headlights issue once I found a proper adhesive.

oh, actually, I wasn't talking about your build.
I meant that I find the design of the headlights on the car a little funny looking compared to the rest of the car. I much prefer the old double elipse of the old SL55 or the trapezoid of the CL65.

I always have trouble getting complex headlights to sit properly on my builds too.

Oh I see, but the headlights issue apparently needs to be fixed.

By the way, I really think that the new C-class's headlamp looks really similar to this SL65 one.
