Re: Thomas Bscher
Sorry my typo, I meant the LM'98, pq or the race weekend. After BMW sold it to EMKA they raced it 1998 in that red/white 'EMI Harman/Kardon" livery, 1999 in blue/white.

Re: Thomas Bscher
If I say 'I forget' will that be okay?
![]() Been in the collection since Feb 2004, so it is sometimes a little difficult to recall the reference. Just looking at it now, the color looks correct, and unlike the UK cars that might be a match it doesn't have a front plate. There must have been a reason for it to have ended up in my #022 folder though, as I do have a selection of 'unknown' pics that remain uncategorized. >8^) ER |

I was involved in this show back in 1995/96. I was told by the chap who had arranged the car that it belonged to an owner in Germany who had two F1's, a road car and a race car. All the information on this forum and in the press at the time seem to suggest that this information may have been incorrect. However, the transporter the car came on wore a German registration, so it may have been one of the other German owned cars. The car on display was finished in silver and had a grey/black interior with a red insert on the driver's seat. Although I spent eight hours a day showing people around the car for the two weeks it was on display, I can't for the life of me remember what the chassis number was. I'm sorry I can't be of more help in your quest. |
