BMW Kaffee Böbber 1/9

No one model completed that I start a new one ..

I started scratchbuilding from a couple of cans of sauce, cutting the bottoms , then filed and welded together (luckily it is steel, and I welded it with tin..)
The tires came from an Harley 1/9 kit, the front one has been cutted, because it was too large and glued to himself , to fit the rim..

Re: BMW Kaffee Böbber 1/9

Thanks!!

@utzelu: nothing special: only hands and only something to use as a cylindrical support, that helps to bend tubes..

Re: BMW Kaffee Böbber 1/9

Starting with the engine..
With 1-0.5 mm plasticard and some computer drawings, I've scratchbuilt the engine block

Fantastic ! I thought you´d take the engine from a 1:9 Revell kit, but your way is amazing

Re: BMW Kaffee Böbber 1/9

I am really going to have to watch this tread, keep going I really can't wait to see how this one turns out. Really want to see those wheels as i am trying to build a set of spoked wheels for a project I am thinking about building myself.

Re: BMW Kaffee Böbber 1/9

thank you guys..

i'm waiting for new inspirational moments for restarting works on the model..
paint scheme??!!
it's too early to talk about paint.. I often choose colours when I'm at the end of works; look at the "Next Project" which is almost complete, but I have no idea of the colour that it will have..
