Radio AUX Ipod Connection
2006 LS V8:
I have the standard 6 disk radio. There is an AUX button. Can I add an IPOD plugin jack to the radio? If yes, how? I don't want to start removing the the system without knowing that I can. |

Re: Radio AUX Ipod Connection
There is a company that provides interfaces that can utilize the Aux feature of many Ford radios for an iPod/3.5mm interface. The name of the Co. escapes me currently, something like Pacific Technologies. They also make devices to interface the steering wheel controls to aftermarket decks.
[edit] PIE is the brand I was trying to think of. If you do a Google though "Lincoln iPod Interface" you'll see there are other options as well. As for testimonials for one brand over the other, that's not something I can help with. I don't recall reading of very many folks here who have installed such a device. -Rod Last edited by shorod; 01-22-2013 at 06:55 AM. Reason: Did a Google search. Updated with results. |

Thanks Rod, my wife's VW has the bluetooth and an IPOD port. My next car will too! I'm now sold. I want one for my LS. My IPOD has all of my music on it.
