Passenger side brake light won't engage 04 Grand Cherokee.
Hello, first post so I'll get right to it. I own a 04 Grand Cherokee and have recently had problems with my passenger side brake light. Now the light itself does work under normal running light conditions, but when I go to press the brake pedal it doesn't engage the bright brake light. Drivers side works fine and so do all my other lights, I replaced the bulb to no avail, and am now currently looking into replacing the bulb socket. Before I go and waste more money I was wondering if anyone could possibly share some wisdom or insight, Thanks!

Check the owners manual to see if you've got the right bulb in there. Check the lamp socket terminals for power to tailamp and power to brake lamp when pedal depressed. Check bulb socket terminals for burning. Check ground path circuit for continuity. HTH
